Building design for the construction of a new home in Township of Sutton's Bay, MI on Lake Michigan.  The project included the programming and development of construction documentation of a 2,600 sf new home plus a full basement for a total of 5,200 sf and a 3 car garage. The program for the home consists of 5 overall bedrooms with 3 full bathrooms and a guest powder room, a grand great room space with 16 foot+ ceilings open to a large commercial style kitchen, formal dining room, office, large pantry and storage area,and a kitchen and family room space in the basement as well. The building site was a vacant lot in an existing, established subdivision.  The project is on a steeply sloping site and includes included the drive access to the garage, a half moon driveway at the front, a very formal entry pergola that leads to a main entry, a very large covered back deck  area that overlooks the views of Lake Michigan.
